Wotcher !!! ....This year went to Australia with Eric Bibb, Paris with Mark Knopfler, two gigs with THE WHO ..CD and concerts with Martin Simpson....did this all happen ??? ..and these last two weeks in October I have recorded a DVD with the great Tom Paxton followed with a trip to Norway to record a CD and DVD with the terrific singer/song writer Anne-Marie Almedal, this was a truly great experience, all the musicians were fabulous and we did the whole performance before a movie screen which had especially filmed pieces for each song, and there was also an audience.It was definitely a time for full concentration......During this trip to Kristiansand I had a feature in the National paper and an interview for TV...but the really Bizarre happening was on the train back from Kristiansand to Stavanger there was a filmed interview with a Norwegian politician on the subject of rail travel, the camera was swung in our direction (Nicholas Sillitoe the M.D. for the project was with me ) and he was asked his views regarding the rail service ...anyway this was also shown on the evening news following my bit regarding the DVD...coincidence and very bizzarre .....next week I am doing a radio show with Graham Coxon leading up to a months Holiday in L.A. and Hawaii...got me cozzie and sunnies and sun screen....oh I forgot to mention that I GOT PAID FOR ALL THAT !!!...lucky boy indeed.!!....
