In this re-release of a video made a long time ago, Danny demonstrates his breadth of musical vision while talking about his life in music. His early beginnings, his influences and his career-long love affair with Victoria - the 180 year old lady with whom he’s lived with for the past 55 years. The lady in question is his double bass.

He plays unaccompanied folk, jazz and blues pieces, as well as some of his own musical tributes to other musicians. He demonstrates how the bass can be an authentic and distinctive unaccompanied voice, in addition to its customary role as the bedrock of beat and harmony in a band.
